Recommended* Preventive Testing:
- Colonoscopy
Recommended at age 50 or earlier if strong family history
- Mammography
Recommended for women at age 40 or earlier if strong family history
- PSA
Recommended for men at age 50, after appropriate discussion with your provider
- Bone Density
Recommended for post menopausal women or high-risk patients
- Pap Smears
Recommended for women age 21 and older, or within three years of becoming sexually active
Recommended vaccines:
- Zostavax (shingles immunization)
Indicated for adults 60 years of age or older. Shingles is a painful skin rash, often with blisters. A shingles rash usually appears on one side of the face or body and lasts for 2 to 4 weeks. Its main symptom is pain, which can be quite severe. Other symptoms of shingles can include fever, headache, chills and upset stomach.

Once at age 65 or earlier with risk factors
- Tetanus
Every 10 years
- Gardasil (for cervical cancer)
Recommended between the ages of 9-26
